1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Odoo Connector app (the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

2. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we automatically access certain types of information from your Shopify account to enable synchronization with your Odoo ERP system.

A. Information from Shopify APIs

To sync your shop's data, we request access to the following resources via Shopify's API:

• Product Data (read and write): We access details about your products (titles, descriptions, SKUs, inventory levels, and images) to sync product catalogs and maintain consistency between Shopify and your Odoo ERP.
• Order Data (read): We access your customer orders (items purchased, quantities, pricing, and shipping/billing addresses) to automatically create corresponding Sales Orders inside your Odoo ERP.
• Location and Shipping Settings (read): We access location configuration to map warehouses and properly update inventory levels at correct locations.
• Inventory Levels (read and write): We sync inventory levels across your Shopify locations based on stock updates from your Odoo ERP.

B. Information Collected Directly from the Merchant

To configure the integration, you provide us with:

• Your shop's domain name and registered email address.
• Your Odoo ERP instance URL, database name, username, and password or API key to allow database access.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect from you and your customers to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the integration and synchronization between your Shopify store and Odoo ERP.
• Create and track sync logs to help diagnose and resolve sync issues.
• Communicate with you regarding app status, updates, and support inquiries.

We never sell, rent, or lease merchant or customer data to third parties. We do not use the data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We only share your information with third parties in the following circumstances:

• With Odoo ERP: We transmit Shopify product, inventory, and order data directly to your designated Odoo ERP instance as configured by you.
• To comply with laws: We may share your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

5. Data Retention and Security

We store your Odoo connection details securely using industry-standard encryption practices.

When you uninstall the App, we immediately lose access to your Shopify store data. We delete your shop's database session and connection settings from our local storage within 48 hours, unless required to keep it by law.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, the App complies with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks to process customer and merchant data requests, including data erasure requests.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
